Wobbly Art: The Pyramid of Capitalism

I'm going to try and make this a regular "column" along with the "Famous Wobblies" one. The IWW is a union well known for its creativity, both graphically and musically. Below is a graphic some of you may have seen before, but how many of you knew it was a IWW original?

  1. I was recently in Winnipeg and I was walking past a vintage clothing store, they had a lone poster in the window, the one with the 2 girls on roller skates in the New York 1916 transit strike, wearing sashes that say "DON'T BE A SCAB". On the bottom is the IWW logo and INDUSTRIAL WORKERS OF THE WORLD. Pretty cool.

  2. They are very cool. I ordered a print from the main IWW website and it proudly adorns my wall.

  3. I've got the one that I saw in the store window on my wall too. I got it from Northland Poster Collective though, they've got a huge amount of union made merchandise: http://www.northlandposter.com/
